Our Mission
Matt’s Homestead was created in honor of Matthew Barba, who died on December 16, 2016, and our mission is to carry forward his passion for helping others in recovery. Matt fought addiction himself and deeply believed in supporting individuals during the most critical stages of their journey. Today, we honor his life by providing essential resources to those working toward recovery and by raising awareness about addiction as a disease.
We are dedicated to providing meaningful, real-world support that helps individuals in recovery meet their immediate needs, regain stability, and continue moving forward. Through direct assistance, we aim to remove barriers to recovery—offering not just resources, but dignity, encouragement, and the opportunity for a fresh start.

We provide direct, hands-on support to individuals in recovery—meeting people where they are and helping them access the resources they need to move forward with stability, dignity, and hope.
Through both individual assistance and ongoing community events, we offer real, immediate support that helps remove barriers and keep recovery within reach.
